Introduction

The contents of the manual have been compiled by Shelby Automobiles, Inc. It is intended to act as a supplementary manual to the Chrysler Corporation Manual also contained in the glove box. A thorough reading of the Chrysler Corporation manual will acquaint you with many operation and maintenance requirements. The Shelby Automobiles, Inc. manual will further acquaint you with operation and maintenance requirements as they pertain to your new vehicle.

After reading both manuals, they should be stored in the vehicle for convenient reference and remain with the vehicle when sold.

Shelby Automobiles, Inc. and its dealerships are very interested in your complete satisfaction with this vehicle. If you encounter a service or warranty problem which is not resolved to your satisfaction, discuss this matter with your dealership's management.

If you require additional assistance, follow the procedure detailed in the "Customer Assistance" section of the Dodge Owner's Manual and the Shelby Owner's manual.

Note: References made throughout your 1989 Shelby Dakota Owner's Manual to the "Dodge Owner's Manual" are referring to the 1989 Dodge Dakota Owner's Manual also stored in your vehicle.
